In fact, over-hyping your wins and creating unrealistic expectations for yourself on the upside can make minor setbacks seem even worse than it really is. Don't gaslight yourself. This was a massive change from the previous brand, a much more conservative approach. Ultimately, it was too much change for the client, and we toned down the design to a 2 color (red/blue) version. ⠀
