Imposter Syndrome

Episode 21 of 24. Everyone has had a moment (or 2 or 3 or…) of Imposter Syndrome when they internally doubt themselves. Imposter syndrome is when someone is having success, is put in charge or given a leadership role, etc. but feels like they haven’t earned it or are incapable of meeting the expectations. Thus, they feel like an imposter. That’s imposter syndrome.

It’s self-inflicted. It’s not necessarily something the world says: “you’re not ready” or “you’re not good enough” but you’re doing it yourself. I have experienced this too. In fact, I had a very recent Imposter Syndrome event that prompted me to talk about it with you today.
