What Do Community Events & Q4 2020 Have In Common? #SaturdayMorningHustle Flashback 3 and 4 years ago this week. Still a GREAT idea and maybe more important in 2020 than it was in 2017/16. . . . . . (Swipe 1) Here's a #SaturdayMorningHustle idea for you. Replace one of your "traditional" marketing buys with a creative community collaboration event to benefit a local nonprofit, school or cause. Bring together as many local businesses as needed. The key is not selling anything or asking for anything for your business. Just do good in your community. The positive attention will benefit your business (and all involved) better than an ad or commercial. Stay connected to the nonprofit, creating additional attention for them and you. Good luck! (Swipe 2) Flashback 4 years ago. Get some bonus time in while your competitors sleep. #GoodLuck #MakeYourOwnSuccess #Entrepreneur #WorkSmart then #WorkHard #Business #Success #Truth #EvenOnTheWeekend #CoffeeAndDonuts #Grind #Hustle #StartUpLife #NoExcuses #BusinessOwner #Leadership #Dedication #Commitment The Universe doesn't owe you anything, so #GetToWork and stop complaining. – 2016 advice that’s still highly valid in 2020. The key to success: Change Management. #SaturdayMorningHustle Flashback 3 years ago this week + 2020 #COVID19 updated strategy. ⠀ ⠀ The key to business success is how you handle change. Winning comes from making small movements, not large pivots or failure to change at all. Business change can come from losing or gaining a client, losing your best employee or new competitor entering your market. Do not overreact! Stick to your business plan, strategy and marketing tactics as long as you can until it's evident that you must make a change. The market will tell you when it's time for adjustments. ⠀ ⠀ When you do make changes, do it concisely and decisively. Winning at business means being able to handle change better than the other people in your space. Adapt and adjust. You can't be the "flavor of the week" and try something new all the time, but you also can't stick to "this is how we've always done it" and never make adjustments. Choose a happy medium between the two concepts. ⠀ . . . .
