Never do something simply because you “can” or because there’s money to be made. Instead, focus on activities you have passion for it. Don’t chase money, because it never works out correctly. Stay in your lane. Stay focused.⠀ ⠀ One of the excuses I often hear for not focusing on a singular or small set of activity is missing opportunities. But not focusing most often takes a business in too many directions at the same time. Focus on your core offerings instead of diluting your brand your message and your communication. Too many people look at ways others are making money or having success and want to add that to what they are already doing. This is a terrible idea.⠀ ⠀ The best business is very specifically focused on a core offering. That is what people expect and like about doing business with you. Adding extras for no reason other than you can do it (but you're not the best at it) or just to make "easy" money dilutes your brand, message, customer experience, staff attention, etc…. PLUS you will be competing with those you are copying. Success is def. a journey and not a destination, but not an A – B trip. Why? I will tell you today on the #SaturdayMorningHustle podcast.
