Business, careers and brands all have highs and lows. Peaks and valleys in the path to success. Balancing the two is key, not letting lows kill what you have built and not letting highs inflate your ego. In fact, over-hyping your wins and creating unrealistic expectations for yourself on the upside can make minor setbacks seem even worse than it really is. Don't gaslight yourself. I'm in the slow period of the year for my business, coming right after our busy season. ⠀

#ThrowbackThursday 2015 tech company rebrand with a great mix of blues, greens, reds and yellows and a 3d layered facet effects. This was a massive change from the previous brand, a much more conservative approach. Ultimately, it was too much change for the client, and we toned down the design to a 2 color (red/blue) version. ⠀

Spirit of Color showcases works by nine prolific artists of color living in Oklahoma, whom we wish to honor for their long-standing commitment to the arts, community, sacrifice, and achievements. These individuals have participated in our communities as educators, curators and outstanding practicing artists, finding national and international success.⠀

Spirit of Color is an expression of identity and culture through the arts. It is supporting and advocating for diverse groups of artists and making a place for their unique perspectives. It is challenging the norm and having the courage to be true to one’s self. It is the culmination and celebration of the artistic careers of artists Mary Ann Moore, Edward Grady, Marty Avrett, Wallace Owens, Corazon Watkins, Rose and Melvin Smith, Michi Susan and Al Bostick.
