Happy 4th of July! Slide Right for the #SaturdayMorningHustle Flashback (2017) Want to be an #Entrepreneur or run a successful business? Avoid SM "experts" using inspirational quotes + stock photos of exotic cars and vacations. Instead, pay attention to people willing to share practical advice on how to build a business on a day-to-day basis. Don't let them sell you a "system" or "one weird trick" to success. Watch people who #Hustle #Grind and share #Advice along the way. Other people's success doesn't stop you from having success. Good luck to everyone willing to work hard for your dreams. Once you make some $$, don't blow it on superficial stuff.⠀ ⠀ Check out the Saturday Morning Hustle podcast for a full 15 minutes on these subjects and more advice for building a brand THE RIGHT WAY in 2020/21.⠀ ⠀ #Entrepreneur #WorkSmart then #WorkHard #Business #Success #Truth #EvenOnTheWeekend #CoffeeAndDonuts #Grind #Hustle #StartUpLife #NoExcuses #BusinessOwner #Leadership #Dedication #Commitment

#SaturdayMorningHustle #Advice A central theme of my last 4 new client orientations (for @TheGoldingGroup) has been the function of Branding and Marketing as a filter to the sales funnel, not a catch-all. Too many people want their brand, marketing, advertising and PR to be "everything to everyone" which is a mistake. The best business marketing sets expectations for exactly what your business provides (and doesn't) how your product/service operates (and doesn't) and why EXACTLY they should be spending their money to acquire it. Everything else is just fluff. Focus on setting and meeting expectations with a realistic approach to your branding, highly focused marketing and disciplined operations create efficiency and effectiveness in your sales process. More conversion, less cost per customer and better overall profit potential. Let your branding and marketing create a sales pipeline, not a funnel. Stay focused from the beginning. Best of luck! #Marketing #Branding #Positioning #Logo #Differentiation #Message #Audience #Focus #Business #Conversion #Profitable #Success #Advertising #PublicRelation #PR #Development #WorkSmart #WorkHard #EvenOnTheWeekend #Authentic #Strategy #Execution #Measurement #OKCSmallBusiness

The key to success? Developing an attitude of always giving without expectations. Be known as a trusted partner who provides value. Collaborate and help as many people as possible, without first thinking about profit and personal gain. When it comes time to get paid what you're worth, you can feel confident in asking for your due. Give more than you take. Orient yourself to serve others, and people will always want to do business with you. Long money is smart money. Let's talk about it.⠀
@TheGoldingGroup #NeoMarketing Podcast Ep116: We can all learn from our mistakes, but isn't it better when you learn from the mistakes of others? My co-host Pritch @RSPritchard #APR & #PRSAFellow and I break down to failures (and lessons to be learned) of one yet-to-become-public customer service and public relations worst-case scenario and two very public missteps by major brands who should have known better (but still failed big).⠀
@TheGoldingGroup #NeoMarketing Podcast Special Guest @BeckyMcCray "I think it comes down to this concept of branding. The brand is your overall reputation with people, so they probably can't even tell you "the one" reason they shop with you. If they are only price-sensitive, for customers who only care about the price, we know that they're not your customer."⠀
March 2021 had 5 Wednesdays so we posted our scheduled @TheGoldingGroup #NeoMarketing podcasts + a bonus episode on the last "extra" Wed. of the month. Check all 3 out now! ⠀

In sports, you run drills at practice. Doing the same skill set over and over until you become a master. In music, you play the same piece as many times as necessary to get it right. The same ideas can apply to business. You need to challenge yourself with drills designed to make you think, work on your process and continually improve. This is "extra" work outside what you do on a regular basis, but intentionally just for you to utilize for improvement. Prepare, practice and improve your process just like a pro athlete in the film room after every game, the gym working on conditioning and running individual and team drills between games.⠀
